TimeFrame Exhibition on Seesmic
Hey everyone! So I've been gone for a bit while I've become more involved with virtual worlds, curating in the Metaverse, directing inter.sect Art Collective, and experimenting with new media platforms and mobile phone collaborative videos. No wonder I'm tired!
My newest obsession is Seesmic! If you're not familiar with it, think twitter-but video. As usual, I've become quite involved as I explore the possibilities here for artists.
So this weekend I'm curating a video exhibition on Seesmic. 10 artists will interpret the element of time found on Seesmic and social media platforms during a 72 hour period. Surrounding the exhibit will be discussions related to the use of this medium and how it affects your perspective of the art, etc.
And the fun part for you is that you get to participate and add your own artistic impressions and responses to the show. Now that's accessibility!
We will have everything from video painting, narrative works, and performance based works. It should be a lot of fun, so join in! The show starts at midnight Wednesday night and will last Thursday-Saturday, Sept 25-27. Participation requires a free account on Seesmic.
