I'm working on a new video project that deals with text, body, and gender. I would really appreciate it if you would participate in a poll that merely asks for words that you associate with femininity/masculinity, ideal female/ideal male. The poll is right over on my side bar to the right. You'll need to sign in to Google Friend Connect (right above the poll) to vote.
If you don't want to vote through Google Friend Connect, you can just leave a comment on this post.
I will not use anyone's name or identity in the video. I just need words.

I might sound sexist when I write some of these. Are you looking for 'dirty' words, work positions? or just anything?
You might want to go onto thesaurus.com when you have a handful of words to see what else you can get.
Here's a few sad but true to me, words that come to mind when I think male. I am not sure if this is really what you are looking for though. Maybe you can respond with what you are really looking for with some examples. President, horny, macho, heavy lifting, stupid, war, fighting, higher pay, manly, dirty

Aggh, it didn't post my comment the first time Must get into the habit of copying before hitting send. Anyway. The poll form didn't want to work for me (things, I do them wrong) so here we go. Again.
Femininity: moon, glass, garden, blood, light, perfume, dress, soap, cat, cards, smile, arms, fire, gin, silhouette
Masculinity: hairy, dirt, hands, bear, fougere, smoke, rugged, tweed, fishing, bottle, hat, dog, salt
That all doesn't look very helpful but oh well, gave it a whirl!
Alright, I think I'm going to give it a go too.
Femininity: knitting, motherhood, nurturing, flowers, kittens, rainbows, feathers, dress, beauty, softness, nit-picky, nagging, pink, purple
Masculinity: trucks, cars, astronauts, dinosaurs, trains, muscles, strength, WWF, poker, hockey, soccer, blue, black
Ah, hope it's not too cliché.

Feminine: fire, ice, vessel, intuitiveness, fluidity ....
Masculine: stoic,rock, metal,fire, earth...
These are the things that come to mind for me that aren't the obvious
adjectives.
